Courses
Chinese for beginners includes a beginner-level course (112 hours) and a basic course (112 hours). The total for the program is 224 hours designed for two years. This is a comprehensive program that provides a complete and continuous Chinese learning cycle that starts from the "zero" level. Classes are held in the evening twice a week and last two astronomical hours each. Students who successfully complete the course and pass the final test are awarded the certificate of completion by Confucius Institute, BSU.
The program "Chinese for Children" is designed for two years and includes the total of 200 academic hours (40 min. each). Classes are held in the evening twice a week and last two academic hours each. The program focuses on enhancing speaking, listening and reading skills and is based on the communicative approach to language learning. Students who successfully complete the course and pass the final test are awarded the certificate of completion by Confucius Institute, BSU.
"Business Chinese" is a program designed for one semester (52 academic hours). The main goal of the course is to develop speaking and listening skills in the sphere of business communication: conducting and translating business negotiations, reading business materials. The training course is tailored for students who have previously studied Chinese (for at least 400 academic hours) and have the basic knowledge of Chinese vocabulary and grammar.
"Legal Chinese" is a program designed for one semester (52 academic hours). The main purpose of the course is to develop in students legally competent oral and written speech, and also to teach them the basics of business communication in Chinese. Students will acquire the skills of dealing with legal texts in Chinese. The training course is tailored for students who have previously studied Chinese (for at least 400 academic hours) and have the basic knowledge of Chinese vocabulary and grammar.
Preparation courses for the HSK and HSKK Exams begin as soon as there are enough people for a group to start training for exam levels 3-5.
Student recruitment for all the programs is announced twice a year, in September and February.
